Words on the Wall of Poshan Temple by Chang Jian
Dawn summons me to the temple of old,
The rising sun veils the tall trees in gold.
So secluded, a winding path leads my feet,
The bamboos conceal the Zen chamber-hold.
The mountain views bid songbirds rise and greet,
The limpid pool could chasten souls in mould.
So tranquil, O what a sacred retreat,
Chimes only heard at times -- the vibes well-told.
