My car broke in the middle of the street on the way home yesterday. At first, the battery light and break light turned red, I thought maybe the battery got some problem, so I turned off the radio. Then, all the lights on the dash board turned red, at the same time, meter pointers started rotating up and down, the car was a little bit shaking as well. Should I stop? I thought about it. But, I decided to keep going, since I was very close to home. I made my finger crossed hoping that I could get to home and fix the car on Saturday. Looking at all the red lights on the dash board, I was sweating bullets driving the poor vehicle. Finally, as I waited for a traffic light near home, my car stopped moving. I tried to restart it, it failed. My car was completely dead in the middle of the street! Some cars behind me hunk noisily. Too bad, I couldn't move at all. Ha! A terrible traffic jam was made by me!!! ... Then two police cars came up, pushing my car to the sidewalk. The police officer also drove me home after that. It was my first ride in a police car! At about 8pm, my car was sent to AutoStrauss. The technician told me that the alternator needs to be replaced ----- $300! Whatever, no other choices for me. What a story!
