Last week, I was caught in a bad flu. I was lying on bed for almost the whole week. My little daughter Amy was playing computer games. The game she played was connect 4. Whenever you got four in a row, you win. She is very good at playing such games.
When I was lying on the bed, she approched me and asked me to play with her. She got a piece of paper and drew out some rows and columns. I told her that I was sick and I have no brain to play. She told me that she would play easy to me so I do not need to have too much brain.
We played on the piece of paper by drewing cross and circle. I won very quickly and later we found we did not follow the rules of connecting 4 because we just placed the moves in the middle of the paper. She siad that does not count. We started to play again. She purposely leave the best move for me and I won in less than 10 moves. She told me that Dad has brains.
Yesterday afternoon, she was playing connecting four in her after school program when I am picking her up. She asked me if I have brains. She want to play with me. I told her that I have some brains but not much, much less the brain Scarecrew had. (we have read the Wizard of OZ many times and we like the characters). After she won the other boy who is several years older than her, she asked me to play with her. Suprisingly, I won over her. I reallized later that Amy was letting me to win her to prove that I have brains.
