my friend ,attorney and partner in a law firm and graduated

from Harvard, asked me to join a nonprofit organization by volunteering my service as a CPA.

I am H1 holder. it is ok for me to volunteer my service as a CPA for a non-profit organization on some tax and accouting issue? But I will sign my name on their tax return and other related documents. but I will not get any payment as all my service is free.


any affect on my pending 485? Personally i like to do that as it is a good chance to socialize, make friends.
