"The point of research is to cut through that emotion and to bring a more rational perspective," he says. "Research permits you to do the unpopular, and the unpopular is almost always the most profitable."
"This is a rare moment when big is cheaper than small," he says. "Typically small is cheaper than big, because small makes you feel insecure and big makes you feel safe and secure."
That is but one of the opportunities that Sanders, the longtime value investor, hopes to capitalize on.
