Finally a beautiful day. Today we drove to Caribou, Nova Scotia to take the ferry to PEI. We would then drive to East Point Lighthouse, stop at Greenwich, PEI national park before finally going to Charlottetown.

1. Leaving Baddeck, Cape Breton Island.


2. Saw this along Trans-Canada Highway 105, Cape Breton Island.


3. Leaving Caribou, Nova Scotia, going to PEI by ferry. It is free to go to the island either by ferry or by the Confederation Bridge. You pay when you leave the island.


4. Stop by Brudenell River Provincial Park which has nice golf courses.

6. Saw two foxes near East Point Lighthouse.

9. Greenwich, PEI national park. The beach was deserted, all the facilities were still closed when we visited (end of June), and the mosquitoes were ferocious in the parking lot!!!


10. Water Prince Corner Shop, a popular seafood restaurant at Charlottetown, PEI. If you don't have reservation here, you are likely to eat outside.

13. Cow's ice cream at Charlottetown, PEI. It is rated one of the best ice cream places in the world :)


14. Downtown Charlottetown.


15. In recognition of 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown Conference of 1864 (eventually leading to the creation of Canada), Parks Canada installed this structure in 2014.
