People like wherever they live because they're pretty much stuck in their life. To me, there's no way I'd like to live in San Jose or any other place near there. I don't like neirher the culture there nor the consumer index there. I am a Southern Belle and a person that enjoys cheap living. My realm is my home, which costs me close to nothing to live in. My husband pays the utility bills and buys groceries. We're the family that doesn't want to spend significantly on entertainment and traveling. For most of the year we don't go anywhere but work, school, after school activities and that's it. Because venturing out means more spending and more spending means more credit card debt to pay for. Thus, beach shopping or skiing resorts are out of the question. It's just abhorrent to think about the money thrown into the tourist industry or fashion industry or restaurants.
