春诗致友人 -- Spring Poem to My Dear Friend

美国好友曾经是轻舟的中文学生，但多年以来，我们更是知己。

每隔一段日子，我们必小聚畅谈。

今日，春阳明媚的中午，与友人一起午餐，相谈甚欢。午餐后，依依作别。。。

夜晚灯下写中英诗歌赠友人 - 感谢一如既往的友情！

 

The sparrow brings good tidings           雀儿报喜讯

The flower core spreads fragrance       花蕊吐芳芬 

My friend, meeting with you -                友朋相聚叙

is as pleasant as spring breeze             如沐春之风

 

Through times of thick and thin              同甘共苦日

Through memories of tears and joy       忧喜交加忆

You have been there for me                  君与吾同在

and lending ears to listen to me             关注与倾听

 

Today, the sun shone bright and clear   清朗春阳照

The flower sparkled with radiant cheer   花儿晶莹笑

The magpie sang near                            喜鹊欢唱闹

A blessed time to share                          福乐好时光

 

My friend, you are a gift in sight           友朋乃神赐

sent by God, for that I find                   知己是福气                  

with you I can confide                          与友吐心思

and pray with you side by side            同祷于灵里
