记得 8年前从波士顿搬到华盛顿，还有很多犹豫。我的老板对我说：“Come on, what is your hesitation? Anyway, it is the national capitol!”后来，我是越来越喜欢这个地方，以致于每年都去华盛顿几次。
最后这张是我2009年去田纳西开会，回来时飞机在里根机场降落。这是飞机降落前几分钟拍到的。

@出门在外7788: 你刚刚错过了 July 4th celebration parade and fireworks. 夏天 DC 比较炎热，活动不多。但是去 National Mall 春夏秋季都行。在 Wolf Trap 看一场音乐会也是不错的。

@Tuzzyi: Well said. Parking is a big headache in Capitol area. Even though you found a parking space in front of the national mall, there is a three hour limitation. You have to move your car after that to avoid tickets.

We usually chose Sunday morning before 9:30 to arrive right in front of Air and Space Museum and there will be parking space (for the whole day, free). Before finding that spot, we parked quite a few times just in front of Capitol Hill. Those parking space was reserved for aids of Congressman but who is gonna work on Sunday. But I have not done that for a long time maybe they are more restricted now. But no matter where you parked, you need to walk quite a few hours if you want to go thru Capitol Hill-Wasgington Monument-Lincoln Memorial. It is really tiring.
