Sibelius Violin Concerto as played by Oistrakh, Ferras, Kaler |
Here are three excellent and complete performances of Sibelius Violin Concerto in D minor, op. 77 by the following violinists: 1. David Oistrakh (1908-1974) great Russian violinst, conducted by Gennady Rozhdestvensky. 2. Christian Ferras (1933-1982) great French violinist, known for his excellent recordings of all the major concertos. After fighting a long battle with depression, he took his own life in 1982. 3.
