Ms. 婉蕠 asked whether we had seen any bears during out trip to wonderful Alaska. Of course, we did! Actually, we saw so many bears that eventually I could not bear it anymore. :) Let me share a few photos with the friends on this forum.
The first photo was taken of a traffic jam caused by a bear crossing the road. What? There did not seem to be a "bear xing" sign? I guess the bear did not care. There was some stop signs about 20 meters away, wasn't there? That was close enough to Mr. Bear!
The second photo was taken of the same bear, after it had crossed the road as well as a small creek. It was looking back at Ms. Diver and me, as if saying "Make sure you have some good photos to share with your friends. I'll be right here waiting for them!" When will you take time to look for Mr. Bear?
The third photo below was a happy family with a strong, proud mom and two cute cubs. Do the cubs remind you of the Teddy bear? They surely did that to me!
The last photo was the best, because the bear was only one or two meters away from us. How did we escape, you ask? Have you heard that one is supposed to pretend to be dead? Well, the truth was that we were inside of a tourist shuttle, and this bear came right to us, happily eating the tender, green grass along the road! Did you know that these bears eat about 80% vegetarian food? What about the remaining 20%? Well, they do eat a couple of tourists each day. Oops, that is not true, they eat some other animals, I guess *_*
